Gentlemen's Factory shoot & universe
What is a shoot at GF?
As with any brand, images are of paramount importance.
They are the first contact between us, our collections, and you, consumers of
cool products related to motorcycle riding. It's also an opportunity for brands to
present the universe in which their products are showcased and which reflects their spirit
and the values of those who create them. This is particularly true for GF "Gentlemen’s Factory" which takes the opportunity to
party with its friends, those we ride with outside of photoshoots....
The cool thing is when we decide to go far, cross borders and ride
on the spots we dream about. We rent vans, stuff them with clothes,
accessories and of course, motorcycles. Triumph Bonneville, BSA, Triumph Rickman
Metisse, Montesa, Honda Four, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki W650 and all our cheap
Japanese bikes that allow us to mess around! In short, a convoy of café
racers, scramblers, dirt bikes and other current custom builds... I forgot, we need to think
about beers, lots of beers!
We have to think of everyone!
Those who want to ride fast, those who want to slide, those who want to cruise... It's
also a good way to test the accessories, which we don't manufacture but
we sell, especially helmets and shoes. We have been distributing the
iconic helmets you love to wear since the beginning, Bell Bullitt helmets, Bell 500s,
DMD or Hedon helmets, and our latest favorites: Nexx
XG100 and XG10 helmets. We also test Chippewa shoes and boots,
handmade in America and recognized in the motorcycle world.
Dilemma: Ride or shoot?
The rides are our biggest dilemma, because once you're on a saddle, it's hard
to interrupt the ride every 3 minutes to take photos. At first everyone
plays along, but after a morning you have to chase after those who decided to
go on an adventure, forgetting the photographer. I won't tell you about the crashes because there have been
memorable ones, nor will I tell you about the bikes we broke, and
one in particular that ended up in a pool in Biarritz…

We try to be present at all important vintage or custom events and races
... And that's for three reasons: the first is that we love it, we also ride, and we meet our friends. The second, for product placement because the competition is fierce and it's a good way for us
to occupy social networks and of course to share our passion and
the life of GF with you... Not everyone has the chance to travel across Europe or the
motorcycle world. So, you too can travel with us and you
can come and meet us and share a good cold beer! Here is the list of
